... on! Was interactive and interesting. Great visit!
The 'hover' restaurant
For dinner we went to a lovely Italian restaurant across the street from the hotel. Food was really really good but oh my goodness the service!!! It was good in that they very attentive but they hovered ..... hovered over us the whole time!!! Wiping the table, moving things, refilling water..... nice service but leave us alone!!! Food was delicious though :-)
... felt twice as heavy and were already aching! Haha. Got back to the hotel room, and packed some things, Ross had a nap surprise surprise, only is naps don't last for half hour or so, they last at least 1 and half hours! We were all ready to go out Ross said I could choose where to eat as he was paying for my birthday meal! N'aww what a cutie :) hehe!! We went to a Spanish tapas, it was lovely! We had 6 dishes between us, sliced duck and caramelised onions, smoked salmon ...

And most cars were passing me. In L.A., if you are not doing 80 in the 65 mph zone, you might get run off the road, But at least the drivers salute you for doing the right thing, letting you know that you are No. 1 by holding up their finger ...
... wanting to be social, have a chat and enjoy the company of your fellow travellers I wouldn't recommend the Hostelling International Washington DC at all. If you are under 18 you'll be very suited.
Upon reflection I find it amusing that I would prefer slightly unclean hostels, or hostels with a broken tap or toilet than this lovely clean one full of children. As I noted initially, my complaints really do shed light on my character. ...
... so wild and beautiful, the landscape and all the animals are just incredible. I'm hoping to bring home a Tasmanian Devil. (I really want a wombat, but I don't think one will fit in my carry-on.)
I can't wait to get over there and see everything, and share all my (hopefully) fantastic and professional-looking photos with you! Write to you soon! XOXO, Mackenzie.
P.S. The weather is going to be in the 70's to 80's. Don't be mad.
