... back in the 1700's. All and all an awesome day of sightseeing.
For our Bay Area friends, all of these sights are located within an easy days drive. I would plan on visiting in the summer months when you could include a stop at one of the many state beaches along the way...And, there are a number of wineries located along Hecker Pass - we plan on getting to those later in the week!!

1 First stop was to Mountain View - the Computer History Museum Website Street View/Map. Didn't go inside just wanted to spot it's location, pop a couple of photos to ...
well i am finally home! as badly as i wanted to go home in the last few weeks, i am just so incredibly sad that this whole trip was actually over... so i always get asked what my favorite places are....it's really impossible to say. all the countries that i have been to are all so unique, and i love them all for those different reasons. i guess i will try my best to compile a list of "best ofs". i am not gonna limit myself just to the places i traveled in the past 6 ...
Cupertino, California, United States yhuang82... sell it in other countries also. I should have realized this when i decided to pack 4 bottles of sunscreen and other extras in my backpack before i left....seriously, carrying around that huge backpack everywhere is the biggest pain in the ass, especially when you are only 5"2 and out of shape like me. you don't need to bring all those creams and hair products that you would usually use at home. if there is something you really need (like sunscren ...
Cupertino, California, United States yhuang8228-30 July 2008 During J's stay there, her brother took her out to try different types of food. From Japanese, Cantonese, Korean, Vietnamese, Pizza to Burgers. Her favourite was on the last night, they had noodle dumpling soup and Taiwanese milk tea. She will have to find a place in New York that ...
Cupertino, California, United States jbadventure... a 3 hr drive. We knew them from Swaziland and they moved back to the States over 10 years ago. They live in a beautiful log cabin up in the forest. It's very peaceful and quiet, no fencing or burglar bars. The most noise you will hear is voices from another cabin or the odd car passing by. It was great spending time with them. J had her first barbeque since we have been here.
Cupertino, California, United States jbadventure... please m'am!" from the bag's owner), fell through the security rope and bashed my knee on the hard, ********crete. I then staggered off to have an embarrasing but satisfying cry in the ladies room. After weeping for 10 minutes I thought I could pull myself together and go behave like a normal human being and sit patiently at the terminal. When I got there there was an announcement that the flight was now no longer delayed, but cancelled. The flight attendant making the announcement ...
San Francisco, California, United States rikki... establishment it was! Shocked, I tells ya. The food was actually probably a little better than the girls there, but I still had a laugh at their expense and took the **** undetected. It all reminded me of an episode of South Park - the insincere smiles, a light touch on my arm, bat the eyes a little, strut with hands on hips, strike up smalltalk and reply to everything as "awesome". Classic quote would have to be when one of the girls said her favourite beer was ...
San Francisco, California, United States kiemce... love etc. on huge banners. Once you read one, you are naturally drawn in (see the picture). I did some research about this project later on. Their motto is 'Tearing Down Walls of Silence Through Dialogue' or in other words encouraging a healthy dialogue between people of different faiths and beliefs. While we were sitting in the square we ...
San Francisco, United States raahiDave, Jenny, and Kris joined me at SBC park to watch the Diamondback play the Giants. It's hard to imagine a better showdown than Barry vs. Randy, but Bonds got the best of this one. The park is gorgeous, and afterwards we walked up the bay to out Hyatt. Kris stuck around w/ me for a couple days, and we squeezed in as much SF culture as energy would allow.
