    ... Her foot is healing nicely and she should be back to running on it by the time we hit the beach this weekend. Gracie is such a sweet dog; she just laid on her side and let Gary wrap up her foot. Oscar is just plain old Oscar and rolls with whatever we are doing.     ... store and doesn't sell beer. - LA traffic and stop lights are the worst! - PCH was the best bit of road riding we had, all twists and turns. The frontage roads are good, miles of straight but not well maintained road. The gravel track we hit unexpectedly was shocking. I'm sure there is much more of note, road side oddities of giant spacemen, soda pop bottles, concrete totem poles and yellow smiley water towers to name a few.
