A lovely day -- with an easy drive out to Sacramento, a good day visiting Sac State (which is a very pretty campus, especially this time of year, with the leaves changing), then an easy drive home. Definitely a long day, and I was exhausted by the end of it, but not a bad one at all.

We were sad the group had disbanded this morning, but at least it ended in without hurt feelings,. We have no clue what comes next, but we need to clear our heads first. we spend the night at a nice little motel. and finally give Betsy a well earned wash, the ...

We were kind of spoiled for our last days on the road, we weren't to used to the luxury of "mom's" cooking, and never ending supply of beer. It helped our motivation to start heading home, a little taste of normalcy.

Barely made the plane because we'd been up late the night before trying to find a way for Michael to get ON said plane since he discovered his driver's license had expired. Oops. But we did make it, as the last 2 to board and late enough I thought they would push us to the next flight out. Stayed on the same plane (left at 9am) but we had 2 stops before our destination, Albuquerque then San Diego. Arrived about on time in ...

... for my credit card being stolen a couple weeks ago has to be signed by a notary and the bank doesn't open until 9am. Arg. Oh well at least I got to sleep in til 8! So once that's done we will head out on highway 80 and travel to our first destination, Salt Lake City, Utah. Miss everyone! -Sara
