The Davis Famer's Market is a fixture in Davis, taking place downtown on Saturday morning and Wednesday evenings the latter over the summer. I used to work for Davis Bread and Desserts selling pastries at their stall, so did Jordan and Laura. I was pleased we were able to take the kids along this evening.

After we finally finished getting the kids’ clothes sorted for the wedding and ...

All the kids wanted to do today was swim! It was a bit hotter today so we were happy to oblige.

We finally managed to get the three boys kitted out for the wedding, they are going to look quite dashing if I do say so myself :)

Wow it's two weeks away and I'm already packing. Does anyone else feel as excited as me? Probably. Besides the endless amount of travel blogs, vlogs, general (bad) wiki-how packing tips, the millions of "how to survive long haul flights" blog entries, and so much Facebook (so much Facebook). I've actually begun the process of PACKING. One of the most dreaded ordeals since hand-crank car windows, packing is anything but easy.

    ... hardly wait.

We were not disappointed. Although we arrived late in the afternoon with limited time to see the exhibit before closing, we had the mail car, the exhibit host and the time almost entirely to ourselves. It was late when we left and we didn’t have time to see Old Sacramento, a very enticing tourist place which surrounds the Railroad Museum. But, it didn't matter. In some ways it was good ...
