Spent the day today here in camp. Cooking, cleaning and watching a double header on tv. We had another HUGE storm again tonight. Two nights in a row there have been tornado warnings here and they had to take everyone from the tent sites and have them sit in the basement of the camp office. We watched it for hours. ... know what this is, its a glass box that sticks out of the building on the 101st floor. You stand IN the box and on clear days can actually see four different states! Since the dogs can't go and it's 93 degrees out, we passed.
When we did get home we had the Mother of ALL Thunderstorms for entertainment. We just turned out the lights, sat in the Captains chairs and watched the show for a few hours. AMAZING!
Well, all the lazing reading and listening to the critters means we had some chores to get done, so today, that is what we did. House cleaning.
As a reward we got to watch the fire flies again tonight AND we got woken up at 2:30 in the morning by a HUGE thunder and lightening storm! Loved it!
Okay, I have dried dozens of times to attach a video of the fireflies, but it just won't work. If it ever does, I will let you know. Sorry.
