... had a chat with a school legend who had coached there for 35 years. Afterwards we watched the boys game for a bit and then went home to get changed and then it was off to Applebees for dinner as it is Holly's birthday as well as Cam's (Marty's son) birthday.

Mount Vernon This is one of the highlights of our trip. George and Martha Washington's estate on the Potomic River has been beautifully restored to its former glory, thanks to the Mt. ... because they told us that they had paid over $400 for their 2 tickets at least 6 mths prior. We only paid $170 for the 2 of us, and bought our tickets a week before the concert. We took a nice walk through downtown Roanoke after the concert, mainly to catch a cab home.
