... we have been warned to expect up to five inches of rain. Oh well what can I do, nothing other that stay put.
off to Washington for a couple of days tomorrow, with a bit of luck should be my turn in the front seat. After getting over my malaise I have really got back into it the last couple of days and loving it all, such beautiful country Canada and America, just love it, don't want it to end.

We spent Wednesday in Niagara. Chris and Clark went on the boat cruise (formerly the Maid of the Mist) and we went and had a short visit with Grandma Brown. ... where the shops provided lots of locally produced products, even managed to get in 3 quilt stores. For some reason we just found the whole country side very peaceful, it not often you get to watch children play baseball outside in the many one classroom schools we saw, to the many buggies you pass. Now on our 3 hour return train ride back to the big apple, just trying to sort out what many things still left to do in our last couple of days in NY. More photos to come ...
... have good food in Amish Country! It is really beautiful country and very interesting seeing so many Amish driving their carriages everywhere. We didn't see any of the so called Amish Mafia, but we would not have known it if we seen one.
Tomorrow we leave for Jersey City and New York. Should be an interesting time.
