... explored the town and the palace. Then we stopped for an early dinner at the King & Castle Pub just across from the castle and had Windsor Cars pick us up there and take us to Terminal 1. Cloudy and a bit of sprinkling rain but that is par for the course in England.

... to find a road (not that I looked on Google maps previously or anything ) directly under the landing runway. So I kerb hopped Bettie and sat right under the landing plans, with a few other geeks. We had the panoramic sunroof open, and could just look up into the landing aircraft, they were huge noisy and fast. C&T were waving but I doubt anyone waved back. (Luce is now at 26,000’ heading out over the North Sea towards Amsterdam)

... up to our expectations! In other words, we could not envisage living in them for 12 months. We found a really nice one, well looked after, a Nissan Serena and we very nearly bought it for £5,500, until we realised that the drivers seat and the front passenger seat simply reclined to make 2 single beds and any form of cuddling was out. It's funny if you are not a campervan type person how you start picking up the terminology on the way. ...
