In the final stages of planning our August 24 month long adventure in France. We will be landing in Paris at CDG airport on the morning of the 25th and trying to somehow find our way to the train station where we will get a train to Amiens - our first stop on our adventure.

Want to experience the adventure of traveling without preset places to stay, but geez luize it is kind of scary so am trying to put together a loose itinerary with lots of freedom built in - ...

It's one of the oldest parts of Pittsburgh with lots of the old houses, cafe's and bars.

It's a really nice place with a great atmosphere. There are lots of street sellers, market stalls selling fresh fruit and vegetables, bread and cakes. ...

    The Adventure Begins

A travel blog entry by drjohnstanko on Jul 31, 2014

... Today the adventure begins, well, it's already begun for my niece and her mother who went ahead of us to Amsterdam for a few days. I use the pronoun 'us' because we will not be alone on this trip. My sister-in-law Diana and my daughter Deborah are also joining us for what will be an unforgettable experience. The five of us - I am in the only male - will visit places in Kenya that are special to me, ...
