A nice hotel, with a roomy suite where we stayed. The pool area was well kept. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were friendly.

Some jackass' idea of a good parking job!

Wow, what a week! Cindy and I had been toying with the idea of upgrading to a 5th wheel trailer for a while, and when Chris and Stephanie made the decision to purchase theirs, we decided to start looking a little more seriously. When we were in Pahrump at the end of September, we had stopped by to walk through the Shasta …

January 13th—Spent most of the day here in the house but eventually had to go for grocery staples. I had to make pancakes for breakfast since we had no milk or cereal. Dinner tonight was 2 filet steaks, sweet potatoes and green beans – a good at home meal. We did play pool – a trial to see if we can still play. I can- won 2 of 2 games, and hope I can ...

Back at the laundry center for WiFi and washing a last load of clothes before leaving here tomorrow. No laundry in the new park only at Karen Ellis! The four of us played another round of golf yesterday. There was some mention of selling the clubs before we left the course. Frankly the most I could blog would be about the food and happy hour. Our most unpleasant meal was at an ...

... care and then on the phone to Kaiser to apply for a new policy. Our current provider Anthem had kindly doubled our premiums with the introduction of the "Affordable" health care act but still had a ridiculous deductible paired with little to no actual coverage. Superb! Health care will likely remain my main motivation to flee the U.S.

March 14th-Thursday-An icy morning but latter he sort of apologized and again later and did so again. I am not happy yet and may not be for a bit!
