Nightmare on Sesame Street

After a great day of wandering the park with Lola totally enjoying the small Carousel and the water areas, we popped into one of the food courts to get a bite of late lunch and wait for the parade to start. As we were leaving, I noticed a few streaks of rain against the window and noted to myself that the weather lady on the morning news had warned to "be close to suitable shelter or your car" because of a pending "storm event." It had been such a beautiful day, that I don't think most people...

<br><br>...the plane arrived...i waited for a shuttle..i looked around..i saw people around me...i knew i was in Philadelphia...<br><br>...definitely a city...a very busy city. Downtown, people just honk, walk the streets, buy foods from the side of the road from little carts and so much more I am sure. I know for sure that I need more time here to see everything this city has to offer. BUT the most important this is that I got to see the Philadelphia Museum of ...

A Delightful Delancey

... June replied with "I want that. RIGHT NOW!" haha. She prayed the most beautiful prayer. The ladies went to the grocery store and June told everyone there that she had just asked Jesus into her heart! <br><br>June left to go visit NYC and after that tim, went to stay with Margaret for another week.<br><br>Margaret Delancey is a truly exceptional woman. We were at home right away, comforted by her snacks and her stories.

Working in Philly

I just spent a month in Philly for a project. Since work and travelling ate up most my time, I didn't get to see very much of this city. My favorite restaurant here is a restaurant called Beau Monde (http://creperie-beaumonde.com/) which makes Breton-style crepes that are the best I've had outside of France ...

Getting There & 1st Night

We drove from NJ to DC - Google mapped this at 3 hrs &amp; 17 min. I say ******** - no way, even if you drove at 3 AM, doing 85 &amp; not stopping once to pee! We left around 12:30 or so (granted it was raining for about the 1st hr of our drive) and I think we arrived at the hotel sometime around 4:30ish.<br ...

Things I miss

... are gems.<br><br>So I got to thinking about all the mundane things we live with but take for granted. You know the classic saying "You never miss something til it's gone."<br><br>Here's a short list I've come up with. I'm writing more for me tonight so I can look back on my Camfel Tours and remember what it was like to appreciate every little blessing. But I hope as others read it that you may consider how blessed you are ...

Sesame Place

... plates &amp; cups but didn't buy anything. Besides some uncomfortable situation with a woman who couldn&#8217;t stand seeing a four-year-old going to the bathroom and coming back to her previous place in line, the day went fine.<br><br>One warning &#8211; Sesame Place is a theme park and priced as such (Dinner was about $60 for two adults and four kids and included mac &amp; cheese and sandwiches).

Sesame Place

... br>We changed into pj's and got some wendy's to eat in the car. Then we finished the remaining 3 hours to Virginia. Overall it was a great first day, the kids had lots of fun. Although Sesame is a little overpriced and overrated, we are glad we went and will do our second day on our return trip. Hopefully we will get better weather to enjoy the water park side(which is about half the park) We were all exhausted and slept until 10 the next morning! <br><br><br>

The Need for Josh's Ministry

... seeker that they are forgetting the one who has already been found. If you do not minister to the one that has already been found you are liable to produce a twice as strong skeptic as they were before they were found, because they will say, "I came in here, looked for it and it is really not here." It is my thoughts that make me sing and it is my singing that helps me to enjoy my thoughts. So somewhere the pulpit is going ...
