... a spot on the sand away from the kiddies and mullets...pretty good time.
Had a dolphin swim within 15 feet of me, probably due to our perfected dolphin and mermaid calls (I had nothing on Brad and Katīs--but it worked).
We had no idea what we were getting into.
But this seems to be the only place on earth that serves Busch Beer in bottles--worth the price of admission.
Today was another kickback day - with lots of housekeeping. Laundry, food preparation and more sorting were the order of the day. We had some minor leaks yesterday so towels etc. needed to be washed and dried and the awnings needed some dryer air before they are retracted. Yesterday I went through some bins of kitchen stuff and found some of the 'tools' I had been missing. Now if ...
Panama City, Florida, United States momadunc... before sunset--it had been raining but it only sprinkled a little while we walked. The beach reminded me a little of The Outer Banks--houses only, no condos or high-rises. The beach itself is quite beautiful--white sand.Dinner was at the Blue Parrot--a restaurant (maybe the only one open?) on St. George Island. We ate outside on the porch overlooking the ocean. I had Fried Oysters, which were very good; Larry had grouper & scallops--skimpy portions.

Roasts and baked good have all been a success. We are rarely eating in restaurants and are eating quite well. Even meals while traveling tend to be 'from scratch' recipes prepared in advanced and heated in the microwave powered by the generator when we stop. The ...

Unfortunately upon our return, Beverly's knee ligament went out (we think it's due to the numerous pretzel-like positions we have had to adopt in order to get on and off the boat during non-floating dock, low-tide moments). We put ice on it and hopefully she will recover soon. I hate to think that she would be stuck on the boat for days on end. I ...
Panama City, Florida, United States lgrubbsThe Marriott Legends is on a golf course, NOT on the Gulf beach. From our condo to the fishing pier is a 10 minute walk. To the beach, a 10 minute drive. We've got the best of both worlds. This morning, it's out to the real beach so mom can "walk the sands." The girls are beaching it while Skip and Gary are ...

And after we check in...the first priority is to check out the fishing sites, after going to the Post Office to pick up his fishing gear. Of course, Skip has already downloaded all the maps.

We finally had most everything as we liked it, but there were still a couple of things Terry wanted checked out at the Tiffin service center in Red Bay, AL so when we finally left PJ's, we drove on up there in the NW corner of AL. While there, we also took the factory tour, which was very informative and made us happy that we had gotten a ...

However, the FL vet told me that the murmur was really bad and she needed to be on medication. I had also asked about Lika's incontinence (I was putting diapers on her at night when she slept on my bed). So he gave me the heart and incontinence pills, which I started to give to her. Unfortunately, two days later, she started having very bad seizures, that didn't stop, even though ...

The only damage was his side mirror banged ours, practically tearing it off and shattering the upper mirror (of the two mirrors in the bracket). By the time that we could pull over, he was gone and it would have been too much trouble to try to go after him (it's not easy to turn around with an 40" RV plus our Grand Cherokee Jeep SUV hitched behind)! Well, after the Perdido Key ...
