      ... because the beach umbrella was proving tricky. We joined them for lunch (lovely lobster rolls) and then a bit of a play in the sea. Sea was bracing but that was welcome given the heat on land and the hot sand. Westport looks on to Long Island, which is a few miles away across the flat sea.
