    ... the little delight to go into the shower and I heard a loud slap and “quit it!”… not from mum either. What an angel she was.

    ... right when we got there. They were trying to move one so they could repair it and the dock ropes got too tight or something. Anyhow, N was not keen on getting on any ships anyway, so it worked out. We had fish & chips at the Fairy Codmother's and took a streetcar to the Embarcadero BART stop. Nice outing.
