      ... for dinner. San Fran at night was...interesting. We stayed right near Union Square, tourist area and home to a HUGE Macy's. There are lots of homeless and street performers, even someone playing a bagpipe. There was a young guy dressed as Michael Jackson, and he was singing and dancing.       ... crash to the river for a dip in some very cool pools Sunday. As rainy weekend cottage specialists we did a jig saw puzzle or at least 95% of it and watched a couple of videos. On the way back today Annette and I observed how the tables have turned with us now in the back of Simon's Mazda, the opposite of many many runs from Toronto to Boston over the years.

      ... with so much nature surrounding it, and there was also a huge amount of dogs which, is always awesome. We all arrived in 4 cars and settled in. Chaya and tom, (a couple who lived in Caitlin's flat complex), nicky ( another resident) and kindi (a friend who lived closely with the sweetest puppy) were participating in a tritip competition where locals were competing to win wine by cooking the best steak.       ... walking with a stick, threw it on the ground and jumped on it, under the pretence that it would break. This didn't happen and jenny had a good laugh as I limped off in pain. Afterward, we went to glacier point where there are beautiful views of the valley and looked really awesome with the sunset. The valley truly was a magnificent sight.
