A nice and convenient place to stay

We've stayed at this hotel before. It is reasonably priced, closed to the airport, close to lots of restaurants, close to Opryland, close to downtown. I'll be back again.

    Günstige Lage für den Flughafen

    from

4 Minuten Fahrt bis zum Flughafen. Wir brauchten ein günstiges Flughafenhotel, weil wir einen frühen Flug hatten. Man weckte uns per Telefon, wie wir es gewünscht hatten. Sauberes, einfaches Hotel. Ist die $69 wert.

    Nice place for the money

    from

The hotel was clean and the room was large enough for our family of 4. We did comment to the front desk that the remote control for the tv did not work. They didn't do anything to fix it. When we returned from our evening out, it still didn't work; but it was pretty late to have them look at it. And then we were leaving first thing....so I guess it was not a big deal to them.

We did not use the dining facility. Did use the work out room, it was small but okay.

The location was very good. We felt safe. Would stay here again if in the area.

    Bon hôtel pour le prix

    from

    Thumbs-up to Courtyard

    from

My wife and I just spent two nights at the Courtyard near the Nashville Airport. We found the staff to be friendly and courteous and the room to be above average with nice decor and a very comfortable king bed. The airport location was exactly what we wanted and it was only about a ten minute ride to downtown Nashville. Be warned, however, that there is major road construction around the airport which makes it somewhat tricky to access the hotel. We had time to use the outdoor pool which was clean and refreshing, the outdoor temperature being about 90 degrees and humid.

An earlier review mentioned the Casa Fiesta Mexican restaurant, just up the street at 2615 Elm Hill Pike, as a good place to dine and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The beer and sangria were served ice cold and our meals were outstanding and very fairly priced. We'll be sure to try it agian the next time we travel South.

For breakfast, we ate in the Waffle House near the hotel. The service was great, the food was good, and the cookstaff put on a performance that amazed us. It was a sight to behold. At one point the patrons seated at the counter actually applauded the cook after he flipped an omlette high into the air and cought it in the frying pan just inches off the floor. We don't usually see things like that where we live!

Finally, we must recommend the Country Music Hall of Fame. It's a great place to spend a couple of hours when in dowtown Nashville. Buy your tickets when booking your room on the internet and save money.

    Good place

    from

This place was adequate. It was clean, had broadband dataport, all the necessities. Nothing bad to say but nothing stupendous stands out.

I would recommend this place to anyone.

One small issue... had to wait on the shuttle (I think the guy over-slept) which stressed us out a little. However, they got us there in plenty of time for our flight.

    Good Place to stay

    from

We only stayed here 1 night when visiting Nashville but found the room to be plenty big for the 4 of us. (2 Queen beds)

It looked recently remodeled and seemed to be a good value for the price we paid. Our kids got to swim in the outdoor pool and thought that was great. It was obviously built with business travelers in mind but not bad for the family traveling to Nashville for a quick visit. I would recommend this hotel with no hesitation, again for Business or non-business travelers.

Brand New for Red Dress Prices

    from

Stayed here 3 nights for a wedding end of March/Early April 2006. The new decor is fantastic, the room was spotless, the public areas attractive and pleasant, the staff friendly. A lone female traveler, I found the night time parking well lit and the inside corridors safe. And there is a Free-Use computer with Internet Access in the lobby to boot! With a map you realize you are 10 mins from Opryland and 15 mins to downtown (add 5 mins if you go under 65 on the Interstate).

The only 2 beefs I had were: The TVs in the rooms are akwardly placed next to the bed and right on the wall between rooms. If you are a light sleeper, bring your white noise machine, ask for a top floor room, or pack some ear plugs. But all Courtyards I've been in have this noise issue. The second is that I had a balcony off my top floor room. The window would have been somewhat easy for a kid to open. Be sure to check the balcony window before you get too settled, if you have kids.

So in short (Yes, I am yelling! But more like cheering):

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING ELSEWHERE. THIS IS A FINE 3 DIAMOND RATED HOTEL IN A GREAT LOCATION. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE "RENOVATION SPECIALS" AND ENJOY!!!!!

Comfortable, Friendly, Newly Refurbished Courtyard Hotel

    from

February 5, 2006 - I appreciated and enjoyed my one-night stay at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Nashville near the airport.

My room was #415, on the 4th floor. Entering the room it was apparent that it had recently been completely refurbished. Everything was new and in excellent condition. Besides a really comfortable king bed there was a queen-size sofa bed, and a coffee table. Lighting was excellent.

I had work to do and appreciated the very large work desk that pulled out from under the counter. There was also an office-style chair that was fully adjustable and comfortable. Also on the counter above the desk was the Zum HS internet connection and a bright lamp and the TV. The TV had a good selection of cable channels as well about 15 pay-per-view movies.

The bath area had a combination tub and shower along with the toilet in one room and granite vanity with sink in the dressing area. Lighting was excellent in the bathroom. Across from the vanity was a closet with an iron and ironing board.

The hotel is located about two miles from the terminal at Nashville airport, just north of I40. Downtown Nashville is about 8 miles west. The hotel has plenty of free parking on all sides of the hotel and multiple entrances which open with a room key.

I had the breakfast buffet which was pretty good. They offer cooked to order eggs, but I was happy with the scrambled eggs on the buffet today. The cost of the hot buffet was $9.95. The breakfast room was very open and comfortable.

The only meal offered at the hotel is breakfast and the only other option within walking distance is Jack in the Box. The hotel offers both a delivery service from the full service Marriott and complimentary shuttle service to that hotel if you want to dine in their restaurant. I was without a car so I wound up ordering delivery pizza delivery which arrived in about 40 minutes. There is a "micro market" next to the front desk that had mostly drinks and snack foods and a good selection of ice cream!

I did not use any of the other facilities at the hotel, but it has a very nice indoor whirlpool spa and the exercise room equipment appeared to be very new. There is an outdoor swimming pool but it was closed during my February visit.

The three hotel associates that I came in contact with (two from the front desk and one in the restaurant) were very friendly and helpful.

I was very happy with my stay at the Courtyard at Nashville Airport and will likely stay here again.

    I recommend this hotel

    from

This hotel has been recently renovated and is just like a new hotel. The rooms have upgraded bedding and decorations and even the carpet is a little nicer than your normal hotel carpet. We had a 2 double bed room and it was large enough to add a roll-away (real bed - not a cot) and still have plenty of room to move around. We asked for the roll-away at check-in and by the time we parked and got to our room it was waiting outside the door. The indoor whirlpool was closed for renovation but that was made clear at check-in. Check-in was a breeze and everyone was very friendly.

The location is good but there is a lot of road construction in the area so it can be a bit confusing after dark. Also, since it's near the airport, expect the roar of planes overhead although I didn't notice any during the night.

I have stayed at several hotels in this area and this one was as nice or nicer than others. I will stay here again.

    Average hotel

    from

This hotel is not as nice as the other Marriott hotels in the area (Fairfield and Springhill Suites). It's a little older. Staff was very friendly though.

The Fairfield Inn has begun charging for parking if you leave your car at their hotel while you're away on a flight. The Courtyard Inn does not charge.

The complimentary shuttle service is nice.
