The platforms are quite narrow so Amtrak does not wanting passengers waiting on the platform. You remain on the concourse upstairs until the train is announced.     Headed back into Manhattan to check the famous Natural History Museum. Arrived into Pennsylvania Station at noon, with a couple of hours left on the Citi Bikes we cycled them up to the famous New York Public Library, got very sweaty on route.
