In EXACTLY 2 weeks, I will be on a plane preparing for take-off and headed to London, England... WHAAAAAAAT??!! I can't believe that it's gotten here so soon! It still feels like Jen and I just thought of going on a trip and we put a deposit on this tour. I am so excited to be going on a trip of a lifetime with my best friend -- 30 whole days in Europe...just the 2 of us?! The South and Central American, as well as Caribbean food here is delicious, as there is a high Latino population due to the proximity of Miami to those countries. It was also very hot and humid – similar weather to South East Asia. I visited a farmer's market and was surprised to see Dragonfruit, Starfruit and Rambutans for sale – fruits common to Malaysia ...

... br> We head back on the freeway and drive some 15 miles to our accommodation which is half way between Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We have booked 2 nights here to allow time to see Miami and Miami Beach, pick up a few last minute items to take to the Bahamas, and to repack and reconfigure our luggage from the size of a car trunk (boot) and back seat area, into 2 large cases and 2 carry-on pieces of luggage. Of course, it is impossible, so we ...
