... they were lounging in the living room, watching cartoons, and eating oreos with guilty smiles on their faces - they had discovered the oreo stash and had decided that since they were home "alone" - they could make their own rules.
Jennifer had organized an evening with old Minneapolis friends - Megan, Paul, and Jane; Brett, Stephanie, Audrey and Sophie; and Eric, Kathy, Claire and Elise. All 8 kids had a pool party while the grown-ups had wine ...
... a big breakfast, we were able to skip lunch, have snacks in the car, and then have a light supper. After supper, we headed to REI, a great camping/outdoorsy store that Jared had introduced us to last year. We were able to find a wind/rain jacket for Leah, and Chloe bought a new Camelback water bottle.
After shopping, we headed back to the hotel for a dip in the pool, and a good night's sleep. We needed to rest up before our big shopping day!

While finishing up service in Senegal I hope to remain abroad while working with international non-profits. I am not sure which region I would like to work in, or in which field, but serving the international community is a passion of mine that I hope to continue. I am sure that the Peace Corps, and my work in Senegal specifically, will give me the knowledge and skills needed to continue my work. I am willing to relocate wherever needed.
I've been home now for a couple months......and I am bored........My time in Argentina completely changed everything in my life. I saw one of the girls from the program yesterday. She came into the restaurant that i work at. We had a few minutes to catch up as I was working but looking back on our conversation I realized something about her. She was different. It was like as if she was another person now. ...
