    ... and the dog only needs to run somewhere into the line to get hit. But your line needs to be at dog eye level to work because a body shot doesn't burn. My first attempt was about 3 feet in front of the dog, who was chasing me from behind. It ran into the mist after 2-3 gallops and immediately stopped rather than continue into discomfort.     Still on our way to Nashvegas!!! Made some pit stops along the way in Ohio for gas and restrooms!! We saw the Cinncinatti Reds and Cinncinati Bengals stadiums along the way!! Stopped in Northern Kentucky for some lunch at Firehouse Subs!!!! Got back on the highway heading south towards Nashville and saw signs for the Jim Beam distillery so of course we had to go!!     We departed Ohio today and headed for the 10th state on our summer vacation road trip: The Bluegrass state of Kentucky.

    Before leaving Cincinnati we had breakfast at an interesting restaurant called Sugar n' Spce which had a kid-fun theme as you can see in my pictures. Along with cartoon characters painted on the wall were rows of small rubber ducks.     ... is like a beef stew. It was so good. I had a BBQ beef brisket sandwich which was also delish. The meat and sauce was perfect. Elizabeth had a yummy Caesar salad and the boys had the Louisville Hotbrown. It was sliced turkey on toasted bread, topped with bacon, tomatoes and parm. Yummy cheesy delish. It is a limited menu but gooood.

    ... museum by the time our one-hour "Barn and Backside Van Tour" started.  Unfortunately, we didn't get to see American Pharoah, because he was in his stable resting up after a grueling photo shoot for the cover of VOGUE magazine (or so we were told). The tour guides kept telling us that big screen in the infield that you saw if you watched the Derby on TV is the biggest in the world. BELIEVE THEM! I also learned more about horse racing ...
