... This morning's ride was slowed by milder versions of the same stuff. With everything soaked I opted for a hotel for tonight for rest and to dry out. Two days ago I was paused outside of Owensboro KY when a passing driver invited me for dinner with his family. He is a runner with curiosity about touring. I was treated to a very nice dinner of venison/ turkey meat loaf, kale chips and ...

... There are two floors of displays with some of the displays hands on for the children. Some of the displays include: Hats (some very large outrageous ones), outfits, silks, films, trophies, description of jobs in the horse industry and implements they use. ... over the bridge and so very convenient to downtown Louisville. Louisville is a beautiful city. The downtown area has been restored with all the original architecture and personality intact. We used the free hop on and off trolley to tour downtown. Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum and toured the factory. Great little shops and restaurants all throughout downtown. Going to Churchill Downs today and will be taking a riverboat cruise down the Ohio River this evening. Life is ...

... 4th SEC University on our trip – The University of Kentucky. The campus is beautiful and there are lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. We ate at Mellow Mushroom (pizza) and it was a sports bar. Now there were definitely a lot of college students there but I did not see one student with a UK (University of Kentucky) shirt on. Come ...
