OMG!  Can you say Northwest is screwed up?  We didn't leave Milwaukee until 8:10 AM which means we arrived into LAX at 10:20 AM, my flight for Hong Kong leaves at 11:00 AM so that means I barely make it to the gate. Next stop, Tokyo and Narita International Airport.

Well, I can quite emphatically say that the bed in this hotel has been the most comfortable so far. It is huge for a start - I can lay in the middle and not be able to reach the edge in any direction - it is really soft, and really cosy. I only wish I could have stayed in it for longer than until 6:30am when my alarm rudely awakened me reminding...

 A lot of people hate airports and flying, but not me. It's like I get this rush, the feeling of FREEDOM!! The freedom of traveling.. No one telling me what to do, no phones ringing, no dirty dishes to clean up etc etc.  Just doing what I want, when I want , and spending my hard earned dollars like I was growing them in my backpack. Our pilot was a bit of a daredevil, we came to a screaming landing in LAX a little bit ahead of schedule.  I was immensely relived to be on the ground as I'm a bit of a nervous flyer.  I think it's a control issue:  If I could fly the plane myself I probably wouldn't be so afraid.  Will finish this entry later...

2 days for Sightseeing in LA and rides at Disneyland before a 4 day cruise. First family trip we had in a long time.

Hollywood...........we got lost looking for Hollywood Hills, when we discovered they were behind us, got distracted by Catwoman and Gandalf!!
