... hanging over the spruce - road was getting pretty wavy. We stopped at the Wrangle-St. Elias National Park Visitor Center - nice new complex with hot water in the restrooms. It was not warming up - 58 degrees with no sun - still had my stocking cap on - wind was picking up - the road was getting pretty rough - in fact rough road all the way to Tok, AK. We stopped for gas in Tok - 4,765 miles so far - we decided to push on to Beaver Creek, ...
... jump back into the car! Probably best that way! Long goodbyes can be too painful! And we had such a great time together! Yes its hard sometimes spending 24/7 with your best friend, but we coped and ended up having a great time together! And we saw and did so much! I will miss her lots! (and I still am missing her, writing this in New Zealand in mid sept!)
