My flight to New Zealand is in 4 days and I think I have everything ready to go. It is hard to say though because I have never planned for a trip quite like this.

The main supplies I will be bringing are:

      • 65 Liter Backpack
      • 2 person tent
      • Cooking stove and utilities,

... it is impossible to place a price on our well-being.

Day 4 (Thursday, Oct. 23)- It rained ALL day!!! We could not get out to the park and climb:(

Day 5 (Friday, Oct. 24)- FINALLY! A great day of weather! We woke up early (6:15 am) and made a beeline for Madame G's and hoped that our gear would still be there...it was!!!!! We were the first group to arrive at the climb and right as we got there, there were two other groups behind us that wanted ...

... outing to Olana for the group this sunday but there were not enough takers so it was cancelled and oddly, there we were, four of us! Including Emma. Emma and I had to run because our house tour was just about to begin. I really enjoyed the tour and the description of the Churches' life there. Then we headed back home.
