Day 7 (Sunday, Oct. 26) Rest day and we got to meet with Rachel and her two boys, Luke and James. It was a lovely day!

There were a lot of roofs to climb today. Frog's Head was soooo slippery on the rocks in the beginning, but the rest of the ...

... outing to Olana for the group this sunday but there were not enough takers so it was cancelled and oddly, there we were, four of us! Including Emma. Emma and I had to run because our house tour was just about to begin. I really enjoyed the tour and the description of the Churches' life there. Then we headed back home.

... times. And, the dimness also helped keep the furnishings from deteriorating. I guess much of the furniture was donated along with the house and the library. I am a bit hazy on this now. I did notice how rather modest the upstairs furnishings were. Some of the furniture was substantial and probably expensive but there were a lot of twin beds in rooms that were not huge by today's standards....and no king size beds either. We were told that a lot of ...
