Breakfast at Cafe Patachou was amazing. Sarah had an omelette with bacon, horseradish and sourcream. It was served with toast, strawberry jam, and fruit. The best part was the fruit. Tiz had a breakfast sandwich. His favourite part was also the fruit. We went to the canal for a relaxing walk and then walked towards the war memorial via the walk of peace which featured stories about famous Americans. The only non-American was Einstein. ... at being Americans. Also Tiz ate sliders not that long ago. We hit up the hotel bar for cocktails. They give us complimentary truffle oil popcorn which tastes like ass. We don't eat it. Cos we don't like ass. We also saw the most ridiculously orange fake tanned girl ever. She has bleach blonde hair and proper Oompa Loompa skin. Super gross and we couldn't stop looking at ...
We left home only a little later than we'd planned at 8:17 a.m. - 17 minutes has to be a record. It was hard getting out of the house because Missy wanted to come with us. We know that Biscuit and Missy saw the suitcases, saw us packing. So, Missy probably thought, "Road trip! That sounds like fun!" Then she was whimpering as we left.
We'll probably stop in Edinburg at Micky D's for breakfast.
