It's impossible to elaborate on how much they mean to me. Words can't express it in the right way.

All in all, I'm happy. I'm following my dreams. I have to flick myself almost every morning because I still can't believe what I'm doing. I'm so lucky.

Retirement is looming - only 20 work days to go! Excited and nervous at the same time ...

For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am going back to Mexico for a week in December. Rather than staying in Irapuato, I will be staying with two missionaries in Leon. I'll visit with them and their friends for most of the time, however I will head to Irapuato for a day or two to visit my friends there as well!

Day 1 of the great trekkkkkk west and all I can think of is the sad state of American drivers. The majority of the people on the road need to re-learn, or learn, how to drive (please!). There is no need to pull in front of a solitary approaching car when there is ample space to get into the left lane afterward, especially when you're an 18-wheeler. How trucks can continually pull in front of cars when there is no traffic ...

... as many wires as the old set. And not as bulky.

Been in touch with two of the other riders; we are having another meeting on Dec. 29th to pay for some of the items we will all be sharing the cost for, ie...plastic adhesive covering for chrome and paint, Canadian National Park pass, etc.

... and Roll Hall of Fame. The first day I spent in Bedford, and then settled myself in my hotel in Independence, just south of Cleveland.

Dinner was at Tom Evans, a place I had seen the commercials for, but with none in Canada, had never been too...YUM - Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, gravy and biscuits!

... For dinner we stopped at a strange Chinese buffet place in PA, and the drive continued. We dropped Christy off at her home, then drove to Grandma’s…who was asleep, and we didn’t have a key. So, we were trying to think of how to get in. Somehow, Grandma woke up and unlocked the door. We went in and went to bed.

THE END

... all fell asleep after a rousing round of "Going to a Picnic". With some McD's coffee I was good to go. Everyone was exhausted and all fell right asleep in our two room "suite".
