... saw the sun set in all it's glory, as we cycled along this open sea stretch whilst both watching the sun and dodging the oncoming wheelers. We actually just drove around here for a bit, but didn't stay long. It was much as I expected; nice big streets with palmtrees, high fences and here and there a glimpse of an huge villa. Again we didn't spot any celebreties, admitted we didn't do much effort to search for them either.

Although both of us did a good deal of complaining about LA it was really great to get to spend time with so many wonderful people while we were there. We both agreed that LA is not for us and we were ready to get back to some true Scamping, exspecially since our next couple of spots are right on the beach and include trips to Big Sur, Sequoia Nat’l Park, Yosimite and Tahoe.
