The next morning it was time to make our way to LA: we got up and ready and waited for the bus outside the hotel. We missed the first one, so waited over an hour for the next. Whilst waiting, as per, a hippy/skater/musician/cyclist guy started talking to us. He was going on about places we should visit near Carpinteria and stuff before we leave: he didn't even stop for long enough for us to tell him we were leaving there and then, so we let him talk. There were people from all agencies, there were music producers (Abbey and Chelsea got the chance to talk to a few!) and talent scouts, acting managers (Sam, Brad, Deyako and Jacob spoke to quite a few!) and we couldn't have been presented with a better opportunity! We got the opportunity to meet Roger Del Pozo and Joey Zangardi, who are part of the New York Film Academy and are giving away $10,000 scholarships to aspiring performers from ...

... over the road from the diner. It was so weird, but pretty funky all the same. It’s just what the name implies: an alien themed jerky store. Love all these random places we find along the way, makes the whole road trip part of the holiday interesting to say the least. We also popped into the California Welcome Center to grab some leaflets so we can make a plan for our three days in LA and four in San Francisco. We arrived at our Hollywood Hills house just after four, and it ...

... possibly a bad idea as she will probably not get to see the final ones on the way back. We both dozed for a bit, but tried not to sleep so we were still tired and ready to sleep when we got to our hotel.

We arrive in Los Angeles on time, about 8pm, feels later because we haven't really slept yet and UK time would be about 2am!

Get the shuttle to the car rental place to collect our trusty steed for the next 17 days. Go through all ...
