... fat in it'. I think he said I could have 10% milk. Full cream milk is called 'cream' but is not pouring cream like ours. Strange people. Have to ask for cappuccino or get filter coffee and creamer, which isn't even a dairy product. Muffin was good though. All on bus nice and early and had to go to Duty Free to pick up peoples purchases before crossing boarder. Poms all bought alcohol. Not worth carrying around, would get broken. They ...

I guess having seen the pro-war euphoria in 2003, and how a huge chunk of the American population was swept into this pseudo-patriotic chest beating bravado. "Oh yeah! Let's go kick some ass!" was the general attitude. Few people it seems really stopped to question if this war was really necessary and the reasons were really legitimate. War is fun, when you think you're going to win very quickly and with minimal losses.

After New York, we decided it was time for us to stop for a 'breather'. Feels somewhat strange, not having Peck traveling with us anymore. Miss having him around.
Spent the next 5 days at Artillery Ridge Campground at Gettysburg, Pennysylvania. Stopped off to visit Ian, Sandy & daughters (NZ rellies) at Pottstown, Pennsylvania, on our ...
