    ... and had a decent selection of hotels for me to choose a sleeping spot. Other than that, I have no idea where I am right now! So that's where I stand, or actually sit, in Allentown, PA at a Comfort Suites hotel. I stopped for my favorite ice cream, Friendly's, before I got in and am ready for a late checkout before heading up to Boston.     ... life and duties at an encampment. We were even fortunate to witness the soldiers fall into formation and fire two cannons three times as a demonstration of what soldiers faced while engaging the enemy. The sounds of two cannons was felt in my stomach and made me jump. I cannot even imagine being able to get used to the sound and feeling of cannons being fired nonstop during a war.

    The capital is worth visiting and if in the area stop by and take a look.

    We are staying put until after Labor day when we move on to Shenandoah River State Park. We have visited several flea markets and have REALLY enjoyed all the Amish baked goods!

    ... It makes you feel like you are actually on the battlefield. It's worth driving here just to see. After lunch be both hit a wall and 5 days of travel caught up with us. We both needed a nap!
