... our close to 30 lb packs and proceeded to hike almost 2 and a half miles up the mountain to reach our destination. Turns out we were misguided and ended up hiking up the entire mountain with full gear instead of climbing it... at this point we just enjoyed the view, had nice conversation, took beautiful picturess and wondered back down the mountain climblessly... we deemed it our "rest day."
