... danger, so I refused to get out of the car. After talking with Gene on the phone, I learned that we were at a pump for LP gas. Many of the cars in Peru have dual fuel tanks. They do have everyone get out of the car when they fill with LP for safety!! Anyhow, our taxi driver went to a regular gas station and we stayed in the car, happy as clams. He was a very nice man and still got a good tip, and candy, from the two blondes.

We have an early dinner time which worked well as we could all get and early night ready for.... Nov 11 - Port Nassau. I already feel like I've eaten and drunk enough to feed two 3rd world nations but breakfast looks way too good to pass up and we are getting off the ship and might not be back for lunch so I'll just have ...

... and I was fortunate to meet a group of South Africans around my age who travel around the world looking for work on yachts. So I spent my last couple of days in Florida spending time with my grandpa during the day and hanging out with the South Africans at night. It was a good "easing back into America" trip ...

... Miami is approaching 900 miles so we did the journey over 2 days and the first night we stayed just outside Tallahasse in Fort Oaks. We arrived in Miami on a sad note as it was the last part of our North America journey and our last trip with Dixie.
