... danger, so I refused to get out of the car. After talking with Gene on the phone, I learned that we were at a pump for LP gas. Many of the cars in Peru have dual fuel tanks. They do have everyone get out of the car when they fill with LP for safety!! Anyhow, our taxi driver went to a regular gas station and we stayed in the car, happy as clams. He was a very nice man and still got a good tip, and candy, from the two blondes.

Spirit Airlines widely touted as one of the worst airlines in America (if not the worst), is our version of Ryanair/Easyjet. ... Miami is approaching 900 miles so we did the journey over 2 days and the first night we stayed just outside Tallahasse in Fort Oaks. We arrived in Miami on a sad note as it was the last part of our North America journey and our last trip with Dixie.
