Today we planned to have our first American breakfast out in Fort Collins. We squeezed one bike in the car and parked downtown (the Max bus doesn't run on Sundays). We had been recommended 'Snooze' for breakfast as they do a 'pancake flight' - 3 pancakes of different flavours on one plate. This proved to be quite a challenge, especially for Astrid!

As most of you know I am preparing for a research trip to Costa Rica! I thought I would create a travel blog to journal my adventures that I could share with friends and family who may be interested in following them. This entry is really just a test but I hope you will all enjoy in the future. To start I thought I would give you all an overview of what I will be doing.

... Park. The fee was $20 for the car and is good for 5 days. We had planned on doing some hiking but the higher in elevation we climbed the temperature declined. It had dropped to 37 F. It also started raining, then freezing rain and I'm pretty sure we seen some snow flakes. We did get out a few times for pictures and one short hike (with rain coats). When we came back down and out the other side it was back in the 70's and sunny.
