      ... at Hidden Valley for another program. This one was for children and was called Artist for a Day. The kids all painted a picture of something they had seen in the park and they all created beautiful masterpieces.

      We took a short hike in Hidden Valley and picked out a shady picnic spot. We enjoyed a quiet picnic lunch among the pines. We spent time at Sheep Lake where we learned all about Bighorn Sheep. We kept watching the mountain side to see ...

      ... through this same rental car agency, and no one showed up to deliver the car on the day she arrived.

      A final note to make is that we weren't sure if the Denver Residence Inn would be charging us for parking our vehicle there while we were gone. In the past there has usually been some kind of minimal fee, such as $5.00/week, but this time they charged us nothing, which was a pleasant surprise

      So, all ended well and we are already planning our next adventure!

      ... dominating downriver through the white caps. It was a perfect beginning to our first day/night outdoors. We arrived at camp at about 3pm, right on time, and settled in. Blake purchased a queen size electric blow up mattress online before the trip that we had to inflate by the car where the power was (there is no electric or running water at this campsite).
