    ... we lost no time to boring tasks and out we went to the city.

    We entered Central Park at the North West corner and walked southwards towards Manhattan. The park looks quite beautiful even in the depths of winter, the frozen ponds a sight to behold.     ... cinema early, good thing we did as instead of the cinema we found the arcade. We still had heaps of time so we headed in for a play. It was great fun. We were really good at this one game, where you throw balls at some ugly clowns, and we won heaps of tickets, but not quite enough for any good prizes. We found a small prize for Hayley, and gave our leftover tickets small kid. Arms sore we headed off to our movie, which was two doors down. And than late home for bed ...

    ... Because we were early, we actually walked up with no-one obviously in front or behind us so we could take our time. There are some platforms as you go up where you can rest as well. The view from the crown isn't that great because the windows are quite small, but it is worth doing to see the inside structure of the statue and to just be able to say that you've done it.     ... amazing! Cannot think of enough superlatives to describe them! Yum! After taking some pictures of Manhattan we returned to the island to walk the high line. This is a large section of overhead railway which is no longer in use and has been turned into a long, thin park and walkway.
