What a lovely three days we had while staying at Ben's Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen's beautiful home in Wayne, Philadelphia. We were ecstatic to hang out with the family. We also got to hang out and catch up with Ben's cousins Andrea and Shelby and Shelby's boyfriend John.

We talked about family, everyday life, the future, and Uncle Tom quickly and often got some political conversations going, which Ben enthusiastically loved to join in on.

We had a great breakfast of steel cut oatmeal with granola and blueberries with a cup of coffee to wash it down. I have met some extremely kind & generous people on my trip so far, and Tracy & Joan and their daughter fit right in with that description in New Jersey. ...

Last night, Forrest Gump ran through my mind again as the sky opened and down poured all the water "... and big ol' fat rain. Rain that flew in sideways. And sometimes rain even seemed to come straight up from underneath. Shoot, it even rained at night...". By the time the rain stopped, it was too late to check into a nice restaurant. I had to settle for a bar, Monk's Cafe - this place is famous for its beer, ...

Just got off the phone with Chis (Milord) my traveling buddy. He's in New Mexico for the next month and then will be heading back to Columbia.

We covered a lot of ground in planning our Camino del Santiago. It now looks like well be doing it in May of this year. After covering a lot of alternatives I think we'll start with a trip to Rome to visit Susan Milord in her ...
