What a lovely three days we had while staying at Ben's Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen's beautiful home in Wayne, Philadelphia. We were ecstatic to hang out with the family. We also got to hang out and catch up with Ben's cousins Andrea and Shelby and Shelby's boyfriend John.

We talked about family, everyday life, the future, and Uncle Tom quickly and often got some political conversations going, which Ben enthusiastically loved to join in on.

We had a great breakfast of steel cut oatmeal with granola and blueberries with a cup of coffee to wash it down. I have met some extremely kind & generous people on my trip so far, and Tracy & Joan and their daughter fit right in with that description in New Jersey. ...

... Hall, a Unesco's World Heritage Site. I had to pass a security check again, but I was getting used to security checks. In the hall, a guide was talking about the history of the hall. His talk was informative and interactive. Many American visitors were eager to ask questions at the end of his talk. Beside the hall was the old parliament of the US. There were park rangers in each room and they were talking enthusiastically ...

... learning some of the history of Philly. Unfortunately we arrived late, made a lot of noise, and then the presentation ended 5 minutes later. The time online was posted wrong, but turns out it was more about the Jewish ancestry in Philly anyway. Hilarious, but the library was pretty awesome! Lots of hallways, sculptures, and the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum on the 2nd floor. Sadly, they won’t let us get temporary cards to actually USE ...
