What a lovely three days we had while staying at Ben's Uncle Tom and Aunt Karen's beautiful home in Wayne, Philadelphia. We were ecstatic to hang out with the family. We also got to hang out and catch up with Ben's cousins Andrea and Shelby and Shelby's boyfriend John.

We talked about family, everyday life, the future, and Uncle Tom quickly and often got some political conversations going, which Ben enthusiastically loved to join in on.

We had a great breakfast of steel cut oatmeal with granola and blueberries with a cup of coffee to wash it down. I have met some extremely kind & generous people on my trip so far, and Tracy & Joan and their daughter fit right in with that description in New Jersey. ...

... ridiculous (the stars are in their current locations because the star gods naughty fox stole his star bag while he was asleep, ran away with it and it broke open, scattering the stars inside) but quite similar to dreamtime stories.
After a couple of hours I caught the Metro to Columbia Heights to do some souvenir shopping. The trains come pretty frequently and cover a lot of ground but it's pretty damn expensive. It cost me about $6 to go three stops in ...
