... disoriented as we walked to the Paul Laurence Dunbar house (a poet and high school friend of the Wrights), stumbled into a massive car show at the Carillon Historical Park, and drove all the way across town to see the Huffman Prairie Flying Field. Along the way we caught glimpses of the University of Dayton, Wright State University, and Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. All of it was mildly interesting, and yet nothing stands out.

I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from a lady for whom I took a picnic photo (on the Air Force Museum grounds) on my smart phone and emailed to her (she didn’t have a smart phone or camera and it was such a lovely picnic!)
