Well, we are back home in Naugatuck safe and sound after a whirlwind trip. This morning we had enough time to hit our local boulangerie/patisserie so Harmony could get more croissants and Mike could try something else new. ... baked potatoes and yams, steamed broccoli with sauteed onions, stuffed peaches with cranberry sauce. For dessert we had a persimmon pudding with whipped cream that mom had made earlier that morning. Vivian and Jerry had never had persimmon pudding before, and seemed to like it! The evening finished with a evening of conversation, tea, dark chocolate covered cranberries, and a New England specialty apple. Yum-yum. It's up early tomorrow was we will head off to the Cape Cod area.

Drove from Woodbury ,Ct at 1030 am.<br>Had lunch near Newark,New Jersey.<br>Stopped at Laurel, Maryland because of leg cramps driving..Because I did not used the cruise control.<br>Stopped at Fredericksburg,Virginia for sleep.Checked in at Sleepers Inn.Economical and efficient.<br>Ate at Ponderosa Steak House for dinner

I couldn't frollick in the snow enough.... but regrettably didn't get enough pix of family... OR the most amazing bagels &amp; pizza I've ever had! I love the east coast, and wouldn't mind moving back here at all. Staying at Barbara &amp; Paul's is uber-relaxing, and I must say my favorite part was watching a movie downstairs in the basement with the wood-burning stove. ...that, &amp; the bagels. And the pizza. <br>

... the land that we could see must be Long Island. <br><br>Once out of the park it was just a short drive to the first town, where we pulled into a McDonalds car park to use their wi-fi and a phone. We used the Internet to locate more Wal-Marts, both in Connecticut and up-state New York; and with the phone we tried to phone New York State Parks, but it wasn&#8217;t working! We tried the shopping mall across the road but there weren&#8217;t any ...

... out that I bought them for her. So we met up in Montreal in the great care of WestJet then transferred to the ever lovely Delta Air Lines for a nonstop into LaGuardia! FUN! We landed in LGA at night about 8ish and then took the bus then transferred on teh subway to our wonderful centrally located Chealsea hostel. Good fun! We were so excited to be in NYC! Thursday ...
