    ... to recall the events of that day. The cockroach museum lightened things up for us- it was a quick, but memorable stop( wink, wink!). Our drive to Austin was full of exclamations-"Blue Bonnets!! Blue Bonnets on the right!!" The roadside was so colorful. Once in Austin, it was fried chicken at Lucy's- fun to sit out in the cool evening air with a tin bucket of fried chicken- and some FRIED deviled eggs.     ... called "Trevi's Restaurant". The food was awesome. It included one of the most tender mouth watering steaks I've ever eaten. Donna had the seafood and it was just as nice. We ended up sharing our dinners for a nice touch of surf and turf.
