I sorted my washing out and packed my cases. I'm leaving America with a massive suitcase full that I didn't turn up with. Our 2014 Hawkins Family Vacation ended safely upon our return home after 4 AM early Wednesday morning. It was long drive through the sands of west Texas but nothing beats the blessing of a safe delivery to a still-standing and working home.

Our final tally was 15 days, 3,571 miles traveled and over 82 hours in the car.

    Thanks for sharing our journey.

It is a really nice museum and when we visited that museum they were running a Titanic exhibition which we thought would be really intersting. And it was very interesting. Before we went to the exhibition we watched a movie in the special movie theatre they have. It is like the movie theatre in Spayer, where you sit under ...

... remember the day a great man was shot here. It was certainly a defining moment in history. In fact, there are plenty of those who still remember this event like it was just yesterday. Today, we visited the place where this place in history occured.

That's right - I'm talking about J.R Ewing! And today we drove to the legendary Southfork ranch. This morning we had a cruisy time before heading off on our journey. The other three went off to the gym whilst I stayed ...
