In '07 I fell in love with Cadbury's chocolate bars with rough coconut but didn't find them this trip. However, the hazelnut variety was still available. And I actually found one Dr. Pepper.

I looked for a place to stay on couchsurfing dot com and found a place with some students. They were all really great. They took me out to a really good BBQ place where you order your food by the 1/2 pound or pound. I couldn't stop laughing. Later that night we all went out for some beers and a few games of pool. I didn't take many photos but I did get one of him and his dog doing a trick.

A drive of about 90 minutes down the coast took us to Padre Island National Seashore. Padre is a barrier island; or I suppose really a gigantic sandbar that runs for miles along the gulf coast. I have arrived in Corpus Christi and the campground is full. Well...I do have a site for one night.
