Today we are headed home. Another fun "Road Trip" has come to an end.

We had breakfast at the hotel, and are loaded up and trucking. Let's take bets on how long before we make a stop.

We learned a lot on this trip. We learned about the stupid camel thing, that the Little Dipper is fondu and not ice cream, how to find the bull, you can park for a short time in a handicap spot and not get ...

The BBQ was really spicy but good. My salad was big enough to feed a family of 4, but it too was good. After dinner we went to ...

... not too technical). I totally recommend this to other visitors. We had visited Stagville when we were here in 2010 but felt a revisit was worthwhile. This was the home and plantation of a wealthy local who had 900 slaves working in the property. We were lucky enough to time our visit for a guided tour (one of the advantages of touring mid week as no bookings required) and two hours later we felt we had learnt so much history of the area, the life of the plantation owners ...

*Disclaimer*: I will work to keep these blog post as short as possible, this first one will probably be a bit longer as I have provided some background information for those folks who don't know about my trip. Also, sorry for any typos/omitted words.

Wow...I can't believe that I am finally England!

My whole life I have enjoyed the experiences that I gained from traveling. However, until today, all of my travels had been entirely ...
