Finalmente, salí México por un avión en Cancún Aeropuerto Internacional.
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico ricardo17... you see in films and pictures. It wasn't as refreshing as I hoped as it wasn't that much cooler in than out. It did help the hangover though and as I was wandering along the beach in front of a hotel I was beckoned by the hotels activity coordinator who was trying to get participants together for a game of volleyball. Myself and Frazer (the french guy) grabbed our stuff and headed over for a few games. It was good fun and afterwards I was completely covered in sweat and sand so it ...

However we found iguanas (as I usually do) and I nearly freaked out but the others looked after me. We had food in a fabulous cafe called the Mango Cafe (tasty gourmet food) and then found a beach to chill out and swim and hide under a palm tree from the hot hot sun... great day out
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico shashapollThis entry is really just to pinpoint the fact that we did go to Cancun, though admittedly it was just for an afternoon, of which we spent most of our time sunbathing on the terrace of our hostel. For any traveller going to Cancun, check out Club Hostel, in our opinion it was great!
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico yorkieandloxy... and '*****es.' I know I shouldn't compare it to Colombia, but the difference is so stark, the only place that was remotely as Disney landish as Cancun was Parque del Cafe, an awful attraction which is designed to be as American as possible, and more for Colombians to take pride in something a traveller/tourist really wants to take part in. I sat at the front of the mini van with the driver, and when I'd told him I had been in Colombia, he asked me ...
Cancun, Mexico alfrun... with Dolphins. You can also go fishing and believe me, I saw my friends photos of fish that he caught and it was well big. As we were quite busy traveling around Cancun we only tried kayaking and windsurfing in Aquaworld, snorkeling tour we bought on Isla Mujeres and was much cheaper than the one in Aquaworld.
Cancun, Mexico paula.ka8h: I do not want to get up! I NEVER want to get up before 10. The bus is full and I have to stand while all those people going to work can sit. I am on holiday, should I not sit??? Maybe not. Hubby knows exactly where to get off. How does he do that? We check in and indeed at 09h30, Dr T has a ...
Cancun, Mexico tonyandmarina... to make travel for US citizens easier to Cuba, and even more regrettably, to send money and humanitarian aid there from the US. Additionally, among several other changes to OFAC regulations, the Bush administration prohibited fully-hosted travel. So I was out of luck with my idea of being hosted in Cuba by my good buddy Jose Canseco. Also sadly changed were the amount of visits which can be made to relatives in Cuba by close family in the US from once per year to once every 3 years ...
