... as hard as you can to see who can slam the hardest(no suprise who won haha).

We found a restaurant called The taco factory, and ate there.
After having some trouble finding a bus-stop to get back home, we made it but both of us were soaking wet.

At the night we decided to go out to a local club. They had free bar for the inexpensive price of 120 pesos (65 sek).
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico young-gun... br>We were woken up by a travel agent that came to the hotel on our request to tell us more about trips, excursions and things to see and do.
We ended up going for an all inklusive daytrip to Chichen itza! More about this in the next entry.
Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico young-gun... hit by that beautiful radiating heat that all us Melbournians love. A quick 15 minute bus ride had us arriving at our hotel, right on the Carribean Sea. The place is beautiful. Amazing white sand, turquoise water, great pool & absolutely everything here is included. All food, drinks, cocktails, 24 hour room service, great water-slides. The staff here are really friendly and helpful too.

I think we have died and gone to heaven .....
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico knipes_usa... Zone for the afternoon, but the sea was so rough, and it was so windy, and there was more rocks than beach, it was nearly impossible (not to mention dangerous) to get into the water. Mexicans I met on the bus told me that before Hurricane Wilma, there were 50 metres of sand from the hotels to the ocean. Now, there is only 1 metre of sand, and lots of rocks. :( After a night a of clubbing in Cancun, it was off to Puerto Juarez to catch the dinky ferry to ...
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico dudeonthemove... the next day. The first day I spent on my own walking around the historic district. There is a lot of history going on there with huge cathedrals, plazas, museums and a **** load of churches, one per corner, like Starbucks coffee in Singapore. The next day, I waited for my new friend and walked around town again in many different districts, including the fancy district of Polanco where we had a lovely typical Mexican dinner, including the Tequila. We spent the following ...
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico njarraudGosh, since I wrote from Palenque, we´ve been through Guatemala (the El Peten jungle province) and that was fantastic. We stayed in this town on an island in the middle of the lake in the middle of the jungle. We would eat dinner in one of the restaurants over the lake (yes literally on stilts above the water) and watch the sunset behind the mountains. We went to Tikal and that was pretty cool - see Ray´s entry. From there we got a bus to Belize ...
- Men stranden er offentlig - No Problemos !
Cancun, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico j.knudsen... out the famous Cancun beaches. Too crowded, and very dirty. The blue water is stunning, but its hard to experience from a littered beach. The second day we headed back, and took in a "jungle tour" where we got to drive our own boat into the swamp and then go snorkelling on the reef. Our group of 15 was alone for awhile before a larger group from a resort showed up so it got quickly crowded. We saw some fish and ...
Cancun, Mexico redde_stijl... in the Hotel Zone is purified. That being said, you are going to ingest at some time or another, micro-organisms which are foreign to your system. The best way I have found to stay digestion healthy for the duration of any trip is to take an all natural product known as Acidophilus. This product does for the body what yogurt does, it replaces the good bacteria into your system which your body needs to digest food. Acidophilus can be found at most health food stores and ...
