    Our ride today took us into Virginia. We started in California and we have traveled through eight states in between.     ... hills were covered with creeping vines that make the hillside look like it has giant plant monsters coming up out of the ground. It is really cool looking, and concerning at the same time as the plant takes over and suffocates all other vegetation. it would be great if you cook cook it and serve it up with butter or feed it to animals.

A few of the guys that stayed at this shelter today, had decided to make the 26 mile hike into Damascus, stating at 5pm. I decided to join them, making my day a 32 miler!
