Also I had never been to Texas before and I was curious to see how it would be.
When flying over I had to stop in Chicago and then Dallas before arriving in Austin.

Austin was so much fun. The first day we got there early, so we checked out the Botanical gardens, on the outskirts, and it an awesome free experience. There were lots of plants and photo opts and a great time killer. Joe is a Texas State Patrolman, so we heard a lot of stories!
