... to pass. All of the tunnels had names; Grassy Knob, Pine Mountain, Devil’s Courthouse. Frying Pan, Pinnacle House and Fort Springs were some of the ones we traversed. Most were fairly short but one was a quarter of a mile in length.

... bend. I got out to stretch my legs at Linn Cove Viaduct, Grandfather Mountain and Linville Falls (1hr hike to the top). I arrived in Asheville at my second Airb&b at 6pm. Again I'm really impressed, the room is lovely the house even has a hot tub! The hosts (Rita and Jeff) are nice and recommend a good restaurant in downtown (5 mins walk away).
