... then said okay. When I came to retrieve my camera, I thanked him and he said "you're welcome, I took three photos for you [just in case the first ones didn't turn out okay]." And that was the first time I approached a stranger, exchanged words in Chinese, and my identity did not come into play. We just communicated. Not as the beautiful white girl with the humble Chinese person. Not as the Chinese person and the girl who surprisingly speaks decent Chinese. Just people!

... Oceans Hall were quite good also with lots of stuffed animals and sea life. The Oceans Hall had a Giant Squid on display which had shrunk a bit due to the preservation process.

The Hall of Human Origin was really interesting and gave me a better understanding of evolution and now I can see that a number of my friends clearly did evolve from the apes.
