... br>Well, in order to make it back to Atlanta for a wedding, I had to leave earlier then I wanted and pull another 12 hour drive. This also marks one of the last entries in my travel blog. I'll have one more entry when I get back to Atlanta.
I really didn't get enough time in Dallas and I look forward to going back, visiting John, Patty and the girls again, and exploring the city.
Our first stop was to see Tommy (brother) and Debbie (sister) at their house in Dallas. First thing we did was drop off my dry cleaning at my usual spot in The Colony, it is so much cheaper than anywhere in Austin. Afterwards we met Tommy and Debbie at Stonebriar Mall in Frisco to see the New Moon movie. Boy that was a snooze fest, I tried to ...

Dallas, Texas, United States adamsprincesPacking for a one-month trip overseas in generally one climate came quite easy after having to utilize the same packing gear for a trip 6x as long and with many varied climates earlier this year. With my 70-liter pack and a daypack fully loaded, and with two suitcases full of food, clothing and the like requested by my friends at ACA in India in tow, I was ready to head off to Bangalore via London!

Ironically, Mr. Rogers birthday is listed as September 2nd, 1958. This is the date he's scheduled to make his first appearance in court! I wonder if the court will pause to sign happy birthday to ...
... When I asked the agent about this, she reviewed the booking and wasn't sure why it didn't have me going all the way to Dallas. But she said it didn't matter anyway because the the flight to Chicago was fully booked! Fortunately, she took pity on me and said if I was able to hurry to the 6:30 Miami flight, I could get on ...
Dallas, Texas, United States lisajagminAmerican Airlines nearly ruins my trip....my original flight which was supposed to leave at 10:10am never leaves the ground....at 11:45am...AA has another flight bound for Tokyo and because I have carry-on luggage only, I'm allowed to board the flight and make it to Tokyo with 40 minutes to change planes and airlines ( Japan Air, they rock!!) . American Airlines...never again you *******s.
Dallas, Texas, United States rone_9In Dallas we found our connecting gate and grabbed some food. It is a good thing we did as
there was no food served on the flight to Miami. I made a couple of shots from the plane as we approached DFW.
Kenny and I made our way to Dallas in time for a big Texas dinner...big Texas-sized T-bone steaks, fried potatoes, fresh veggies, biscuits, and peach and blackberry cobbler for dessert!!! Man was it good! There were twelve of us there for dinner and it was nice to see everyone and all the kids. That night, we met up with some old friends - Jeni, Chris, and Jessica, at a bar off Greenville and caught up. The next day Kenny went off on his own for a while as I attended a high ...
