Gma and I signed up for the "illuminated Paris" tour - dinner at famous restaurant and boat tour on Seine River. Dinner was good - very hot - French don't really believe in AC. We ate at bofinger brassiere. Tried duck foie gras with toasted brioche and surprise surprise - didn't really like it. Dinner was chicken with summer veggies. Dessert was strawberry soup - yummy!! The boat tour was amazing! ...
... and much of the 4th arrondissement. Ultimately we did make it back to the hotel and the return trip to the US was uneventful (see above).
I’ve attached a few pics from our last night in Paris. I plan to write one more blog entry summing things up so make sure to look for it! I also need to clean up some of the pics and text b/c the main reason for my choosing this blog was that I can print it as a book when finished. Stay tuned!
