Again an overcast morning as we left Santa Rosa and set out on Hwy 101 towards San Francisco, but before many miles the sun was shining brightly. Cannot believe how much traffic was on the roads on a Sunday morning and it was just as busy as we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge at about 9.30am. We have stayed in San Francisco before and walked across the great bridge. Today we found a viewpoint in the ...

Today I just found out I might be pregnant. Excited and happy. Although it is planed and luckily happened as expected, thinking of our baby and his future still excites me. How will he look? Can I carry him safe and sound? What will happen in my life, our lives and his life? I already feel I love him so much. A day of biking.

The photo is cloudy and foggy but that blew off heading south.

US 101 - beautiful curvy roads: La Honda Rd, Skyline Blvd, Woodside Rd, etc (all amazing!) - lots of bikes and expensive cars - the coastline on CA-Highway-1 with the waves and surfers and setting sun.

      All in great company.

... to hang out with both of them, they are such nice people. We only have a very tiny family and scattered all over the world, but it's nice that we really get along well the few times we get to spend time together. On Sunday we got up and went to the farmers' market in Campbell. It's a nice little street market that sells all fresh and local produce. We had breakfast there at one of the crêpe stands, I had a strawberry and chocolate crêpe which was ...

... around them than I am about quantum physics and the giant unknowns of the universe. As my departure date rapidly approaches, one of the common reactions that I have received is, "wow, aren't you afraid?" I try not to look at people incredulously when they ask me this and reply, "aren't you?" There is nothing more frightening to me than being drowned by limitations. The unknown is much more comforting to me than the known. I love to be ...
