After getting some energy out on the rocks, we headed across the street to check out the replica of Sutter's Mill. It turns out that the original mill had been washed away in the 1850s due to flooding on the American River so a replica was created, using Sutter's original drawings, on higher ground, which was just a short hike from the original site.
