... Got into Philly Monday night and took it easy, got some Japanese udon in Chinatown with Ash and his roomie and then hung out with them at home. Tuesday we grabbed breakfast at one of my old favorite holes in the wall, Jeans Cafe, before seeing independence hall, the old Capitol building, the liberty bell, reading terminal market, did a little thrift/discount clothes shopping and then ended up at ...

We met in Suite 801 in a building a block away from Ground Zero. This is the Center’s main headquarters, sitting a hundred feet from the actual gallery location. We met everyone on the staff, who welcomed us like two new members of a family. It turns out ...

... on Ellis island in the south, right up to the North tip of Manhattan in the Harlem district. A great way to orientate yourself in a new city. It's so high the people and cars look like tiny wind up toys in a model village below. We couldn't stay up there too long though before our faces felt like they were literally going to freeze off! Our next stop was the shopping district around 5th Avenue to buy some winter woollies as we had come slightly under prepared :-) we hit Macy's and ...
