... gasping and surprisingly tasty plane food - I eventually landed in Lima. My bags took forever to arrive. ... we drove right into the center of the city to see the capitol building. And that is exactly where it is, surrounded by skyscrapers. It is built on top of a rocky hill so that it sits really high, and it takes up a block of the city, not a big block, but none the less, a block. ... And during that trip, I took my handgun out of its travel case and, you guessed it, carried it in that backpack! Oh my God! It was just in a small, thin holster and technically, since shooting it, I never really cleaned it. Holy ****. They were picking up the residue!
