Iowa & Nebraska Capitals

... We found the lowest gas prices so far in Iowa and got the best gas mileage driving our new KIA Sorento, 33 mpg, westbound on the freeway from Des Moines yesterday. I think washing the car may have helped! There must have been 10 # of dust, mud and bugs on the car from nearly 5 weeks on the road.

Mike, who grew up in The Netherlands, said it's against the law for
truck drivers to move into the inside lanes on freeways. I wish that
was the case here.

It was raining so hard in Des Moines, that we didn't get any photos - the capital bldg was stunning, and would have worth the photo, but it just wasn't possible due to the weather.
