      Typical rip-off chain hotel

Positives - excellent location for visiting the Palace.
Negatives - Very poor value for money. Like many typical 4 star business hotels you get very little for your money and the hotel want to extract every last euro from you. But I have never stayed in a place that makes you buy milk for your coffee.
We have been travelling Europe for over a month and this hotel is the biggest rip off. Even in guesthouses a third of the cot you will find free wifi, and often a simple breakfast included.
Reccomend staying elsewhere and get a taxi ti the Palace with the money you save.

We arrived in Vienna, Austria, after 16 hours of travel from SLC to Detroit to Amsterdam to Vienna. We took a little (or a lot of;)) nap at the Marriott before
walking to the Schonbrunn Palace (built in the 16th Century). We loved the well-manicured gardens, fountains, and statues! Although the castle was not open at the < …

As we are only staying the 1 night, the room is basic, but we do have access to the snow on the roof, photo attached. So we drop all our bags in the room, and then start to plan what we are going to do for the remainder of the afternoon. It is about 2.30pm and we start to google 1/2 day tours of Vienna, we find out that they have commenced already or not operating during the winter months. ...

... Each horse has two names; the first name takes the same name as the mother, and the second name comes from the father’s family name. The horses are born black, the coats brighten to grey through childhood, and eventually turn a pristine white in adulthood. Very rarely, a brown Lipizzaner is born, but they are regarded as incredibly lucky. In fact, it is said that there must always be a brown Lipizzaner in the stable for the school to ...

... any pride in there city? In saying that the trains station and trains themselves were very clean, safe and had next to no graffiti? Slightly confused. Not understanding the Greek language made it extremely frustrating, but again part of the experience. Again another great experience. One day in Athens is more than enough to get what Athens has to offer. I'm giving Athens "6 out of 10 ByrneyWhacks" if it wasn't for the acropolis who knows what score they would've ...

... br> And now to the food. I love the food here. Schnitzel is amazing and apple strudel is definitely one of my new favorite deserts. The little bar just down the street from my apartment has amazing food and apparently some of the best schnitzel in Vienna. I have yet to try the Viennese coffee, but I have heard it is amazing. The chai lattes are really good though. I am not on the search for the best on in Vienna which will be ...
