    Typical rip-off chain hotel

Positives - excellent location for visiting the Palace.
Negatives - Very poor value for money. Like many typical 4 star business hotels you get very little for your money and the hotel want to extract every last euro from you. But I have never stayed in a place that makes you buy milk for your coffee.
We have been travelling Europe for over a month and this hotel is the biggest rip off. Even in guesthouses a third of the cot you will find free wifi, and often a simple breakfast included.
Reccomend staying elsewhere and get a taxi ti the Palace with the money you save.

... sets coded blue, we were on the red bus and would have had no commentary so off we got and onto the 'blue' bus. Vienna is a magnificent city with many grand buildings, originally built when the population was a lot larger. After a bus tour around we were taken on a walking tour and then left to our own devises to explore. We assembled after an hour and headed to the bus pick-up point, then were driven back to the ship. We spent ...

... crazy at feeding time competing for fish. We watched a lot of the animals being fed, the most fascinating of which was a polar bear tearing a chunk of meat to pieces whilst tourists gawked through the glass. Not quite the same as what you'd get in the wild but still pretty awesome. After the zoo we had time to see Vienna's most popular attraction, Schönbrunn Palace. This spectacular manor overlooked an enormous expanse of gardens and fountains, reminiscent ...

... interested on a little walking tour of the area around the hotel, so I did that. Then when I got back I had to get dressed for a musical program which we had purchased tickets to days ago that was to begin at 6 PM. It ended up being really charming since it was held in a relatively small room where Mozart actually worked and played for ...

JD and I left Budapest for Vienna around noon and arrived at the main station in Vienna around four pm. We took the metro to our stop on the edge of the city, Ottakring. Perhaps not my best booking, the hotel was evidently a smoker friendly lobby/restaurant, but the room was spacious and smelled clean and smoke-free. There was not much going on in our neighborhood, mostly apartments and a couple grocery stores. After getting settled into ...

... still blue skies and we had a very present trip to our first pit stop. Our first stop was only about 10 minutes into Austria, where we had the best schnitzel ever. It was very big and of course served with chips. We had 50 minutes here and then were off to our hotel. We made it at 3 pm with only 2 hours before we had to leave again. We were very rushed because we had to find our rooms, unpack and get dressed up nicely; we only just made the bus. Our first stop was the town ...
